I'm planning on going up the assault tactics trees and was wondering what title that would make available to me. Is it Infiltrator, Marauder, Expert Carbineer? I know it's a silly question, but I'd like to know so I can adjust my character background story accordingly.

None of those, sorry... I just got it, and it's "Mercenary"

In-game, if you want to check on the other titles, just go to carbineer in the skill sheet, and hover of the master box of each tree...very convenient

No forced interaction (in an MMORPG?), but hey, the expansions sure seem forced.

I think Marauder is my favorite title out of all of them, though Infiltrator isn't very far behind.

In game, Ctrl + S, click on top level skill box. It tells you the title you will get.
