ok i thought of a new combo, mast combat medic/mast caribeener



do u guys think this will be good? let me get your honest opinions

New idea for you maybe. Not to the Combat Medic / Carbineers that already exist though. Like me


It works very well. Of course i carry and use mind poison. Let me tell you what though. I carry action poison, both aoe and single target. Action shot 1 + Action shot 2 + single target action poison + AOE action poison = banged up action pool. Be prepared for "hey, why are you using action poisons and disease?" tells if you go that route. Remember, with the CM "nerf" (--shrug--) you will need to pop off a shot to put your target down. Scattershot (or in the above use of poisons, legshot) achieve this easily.


This also provides for a more "offensive" type character. Doctors big thing is the buffs. And they rule. I see the buffs as a defensive measure, though. With poisons and disease, they cause damage. Thus, offensive.


Oh, and ya know how hard it is to get combat xp at times? well, carry some lousy poisons for PvE. We know get combat xp for the damage they do. YAY!


Medic / Combat Medic / Doctor (this one is an assumtion, but they gain med xp too, correct?) are easy to grind. Nice macros for crafting exist as well, so even that part of the grind isn't too bad.


Good luck. I highly recommend this spec.In fact, carbineer with CM, Doctor, or BH carbine are the three best choices imo (not in that order per se)

thanks im 1 2 1 2 for caribeener, and just a master medic for now, working on medical skills so i can be a combat medic too, but i really want crippling shot soon

Yup, doctors use the same medical and medical crafting experience that CMs get. Which is why the original poster may want to level CM enough (0023) to use aoe heals before he tries (if he tries) to get some doctor experience. A well timed area stim-a in a busy cantina is 1500+ med xp easy. In theory I could probably go from 0003 CM to 4404 CM in just two or three hours.

Its the medical crafting grinding thats the killer, especially since factories arent returning any experience points currently. Best bang for the buck: macro practice crafting bio effect controllers (for xp versus resources/money the basic BECs win, ABECs are worth more experience but I hate using my good resources for them).
