Thread: Fastest way to get Combat XP??

Hey fellow carbs,,,,,,I am 4443 carbineer and just need the last combat xp box,...This box ssems to take an extreme amount of time,,,for every 4k of carb xp I get only 300-400 combat xp,,,anyone got any tips on how to level this box fast???

As you have already determined, combat xp is 10% of weapon xp.. the only way to level combat xp fast as a carbineer is to find a bunch of things and kill them fast =).
My favorite tactic is to roam the wilderness on a planet like dantooine or yavin, find wild lairs ("a nest", "an insect mound" etc, not "a quenker lair" which is a mission lair) and open fire with area attacks with the lair as the target.. of course, you'll need decent armor (I like ubese for this, since it's cheap) and buffs =).

I have heard that the fastest way to get combat XP is to use grenades and thrown incendiary devices. I have not confirmed this, but my understanding is that any XP gained by tossing grenades is pure combat XP.
The only XP worst than combat XP is crafting XP

LOL, you are obviously kidding because crafting macros make it sooooooooooo easy.....
I did every single Artisan prof at least once.....holo-grind for them ALL took SEVEN DAYS.....not counting merchant of course 
I tried the Grenade thing, but that xp is horribly slow, just go kill stuff like you leveled the rest of Carbineer.

TA, you are right...once I found and tuned a crafting macro it was easy. The only problem was I didn't get the fully automated crafting macro until I was already 1/2 way through my 3rd Doc crafting box. Thank god for 'practice mode'

Crafting????? GTF out of the carbine forums!!!!!!!
A good way to get combat is to shoot a AFK macroing crafters.........in the head preferably.
You get Double EXP if they are a Wookie!!!!!!!!!

The best way to get combat xp IS to use grenades to take out the lair at the end of the mission. I did this on a couple of Relic reaper quenker lairs and got 5K combat xp at the end for just the lair.
You need crates and crates of grenades to do this though.
