Decided to give carbineer another try so I'm looking at outfitting weapons. Right now the carbine I have my low level is 109 which I am fairly certain is a bit on the high side. ideally on a non loot component carbine (grind quality) what sort of sac should I look for when I am making my weapon.
Note: MWS doesn't mean I know a profession well enough to judge what a "good sac" is for a weapon

All craftable carbines have a minimum SAC of 73, so ideally you want 73 SAC
You can get by on 74/75 but I'd aim for 73.

While some people push to 73 SAC and then still use a SAC PuP, i personally take it a bit more relaxed. I personally found that i can work quite well with a SAC of 80 or below and the use of Accaragm.

Ican see 80 as well that at least leaves room for some nice damage on the carbine. Traditionally I exp on subs to all about sac (to a -8 actually )and then balance of points left over into speed. Finallyexperimintation on the final assembly would be all damage.

For non-enhanced/grind/starter level carbines, I would keep it under 85. SAC pups help a lot. Once a Carbineer finishes off his template and starts acquiring speed SEAs, the SAC becomes more and more important, and he usually has the cash to have an enhanced weapon made. Most carbineers will sacrifice speed to cap out SAC and Damage on a custom weapon.
But for a nice non-enhanced crafted carbine, I would keep the SAC under 85. 80 is better, but 85 should sell.

On the money with what I've experienced.
I picked up 4 e11 mark2's at around 25k each, max damage was at about 900, sac was about 85, speed 2.34 i think.
What I did is equipped a couple with different pups and one without a pup, and depending on how I wanted to fight, i could easily switch weapons instead of wasting the rest of a pup. i usually ended up using the SAC pup'ed one most often when I was soloing, and the damage pup'edone when i was with a small group or generally needed more damage dealt faster. just used one without a pup when with large/full group. anywho, that's my grinding experience

Of course, stats vary for the Elite and E11 Mk.II Carbines, depending on the available server resources.
But everyone can typically agree, that the Elite and E11 Mk.II are close in stats. They cap at about 1k max.damage and SAC of 73.
A typically excellent E11 Mk.II or Elite would have something like this:
Damage: mid-400's-1k.
Speed: I believe at about 2.3, but if you're Master Carbineer with good amount of Gen.Ranged Mods, this doesn't matter, really.
Accuracy: I look for 17 at the bare minimum for an excellent Carbine.
Wound: The E11 Mk.II can get to 28-29% Wound, about 10% more than an Elite, from my observations.
SAC: 73 is the best.
