Just deciding now about how to get my new Carbine sliced, as it is Damage Capped I'm wondering whats the best method of slicing to get the most out of it.

Seems like you already answered your own question......since you said it is damage capped.....or maybe I am missing something here?

Yes.....
as the question says, as its already capped, what would be the best way of slicing, eg, All into speed, some into Critical etc

Those links, all from Page 1, should help you out......it is more of a personal preference and template choice rather than hard fact which way to go.....hence no exact answer

The type of slice you take depends on your template, IMO.
If you have alot of total Ranged Speed with Carbines (General + Carbine), then I would go with Critical Slices for a better %.
If not, then get Speed Slices.
No need to take Damage Slices, IMO. Your gains will be very, very minimal.

thanks alot for the Info- Current template is mCarbs, mCombat Med, Pistols xxx4 - so only range bonuses from the Carbs trees.
Would you recommend speed with this Template, or Critical?
Hmm. You should have 18 SPs left over.
Anyways, with the template you described, Speed would be a good choice. Reasons?
- You're not a Full Ranged Combat character, so you're not high in accuracy and speed.
- You'll be relying just as much with your M.Combat Medic skills.
- The damage you do even with Critical Damage won't be much compared to a Full Ranged Combat character.
- With that in mind, getting off speedy attacks for whatever purposes as a Carbineer is more important than Critical.
got the xx4x in medic also for Drag, as I play Support Char
thanks alot for that advice mate, will contact my local Smug now and get it sliced up ![]()
