I don't know if this has been addressed before, so I'll go ahead and post it.
Above your enemy's head, there is a number that shows a modifier to your accuracy. It goes anywhere from -50 to +50 to hit (which could be a percentage, I don't know). At any rate, has anyone noticed that when you attack from 64m, it's -50, and from pointblank it's -50, but you hit three times as often when at 64m than at 0m? I figured a carbine is a medium range weapon, and wouldn't have that taxing of a penalty when trying to shoot up close. I mean, it shouldn't be a 0 modifier, but -25 should be the maximum penalty for both the closest and most extreme ranges with a medium-accuracy weapon, regardless of what kind it is.
The CDEF is a lot more accurate than the Laser, which is understandable, but I miss four of every five shots when something is up close. Realistically, how hard is it to hit something pointblank with an SMG? That's what the carbine is, basically, isn't it? An SMG blaster? (with attacks like Fullautoshot, it appearsto bea rapid-firing weapon) At the most extreme range (64m), I probably miss one out of every four shots, but the modifiers on both ends appear to be the same.
Anyone else think this needs to be changed?

doh that stinks about the aoe heal. the template i want is only gonna be like CL77 or so. back to the drawing boards.
