You've been really helpful so far and I had a few more questions for you.
1 - If I had a 12pt Master WS make me an elite with those enhanced power cells...what stats would the best Elite carbine end up with after making? Non sliced yet and Non-pup'd. Dmg capped and the low sac that the power cells give it. Also the speed.
2 - If an elite carbine has the dmg cap from the master weaponsmith...how should I get this weapon sliced? Can a master smuggler slice any more damage if it's already capped? I heard that we get 3 slices? Whats this whole customization thing about? Should I go for 1 speed slice and then 2 critical slices? I'm confused.
Sorry that was more than just 2 questions but I'm about to get one made and I wanted to know these things first.
Thanks so much for your help.

Dmg capped and the low sac that the power cells give it. Also the speed. The stats will differ a little from server to server depending on the resources, first thing to do is to ask the WS what he reckons his resources will make better, the elite or Mk2 (both require different resources so the quality will vary). My Elite came out with the following stats after using 183/-8 Power Cells (unsliced stats), but your carbine may differ due to resources and succes rate while experimenting.
Speed: 2.37
Damage: 427-1063 (max damage capped)
Accuracy: +20
Wound: 18.4% (capped)
SAC: 73 (capped)
If an elite carbine has the dmg cap from the master weaponsmith...how should I get this weapon sliced? Can a master smuggler slice any more damage if it's already capped? I heard that we get 3 slices? Whats this whole customization thing about? Should I go for 1 speed slice and then 2 critical slices? I'm confusedIf an elite (or mk2) has damage over 1043(ish) then it can't be damaged sliced. So if capped then you can't add more damage to it, only a damage pup will let you do that. So that leaves you with critical slicing or speed slicing. I haven't tested critical slicing yet to see if there really is much difference in critical hit frequency, but it's on the list of things to find out. Personally I went for a 100% speed slice which dropped the speed down to 2.07 which after ranged speed modifiers is more than enough to allow you to ping off shots. Just remember to apply a SAC pup for those longer duration fights which will drop it down to around 52 SAC or a damage pup for the odd shot at low end mobs or short battles which would increase the maximum damage to around the 1200 mark.
Hope that helps

Can i remove pup's from weapons anytime I want to or do I have to let it run and wait until it's completely used and disappears?
Thanks again.

Regarding the slice:
Personally I would always go for a full critical hit slice, rather than a speed slice when the damage cap is reached and the speed is already reasonable low (as MSL MCar, BH4004 I get a base speed of 2.5 down to 1.5 with my current skill mods and ca and aas).
You can get your speed down with skill enhancements attachments and a mod speed beyond 1.2 doenst matter since fastest you can theoretical shoot is once per second, not talking about lag.
A full critical speed slice will give you a 10% of chance of a critical hit, when if its works (what should be fixed in the latest publish) will double your damage.
This is an effect you can not reproduce with any ca's or aa's and you only get when you are BH and even with the advanced critical hit of MBH you certainly want another 10% chance of gettting double damage on your target.

Unless something changed recently, PU's can be removed at any time.

Though once removed you can't get the back. So always make sure you have a spare one in your backpack to apply in the middle of a fight as you can't pull items from a crate while in combat (You can't pull items from a Krayt in combat either.. it'd eat you).

I agree. My MK2 is double capped so i took the crit slice. My mod speed is slightly under 1.5 with no AA/CA
