No a +8 will not fix the profession. That is the point. This is an issue for a HOTFIX. This will not fix theprofession but will give relief.A +8 as opposed to +5 to speed per +5 skill box and a +20 as opposed to a +10 at master will not fix the profession but it will give Carbineers an extra+30 for speed and you can't tell me that won't be a boost.

I don't know about posting it. If you really want to, by all means. Carbineer Speed is something that I am going to bring up but with the combat proposals, I don't know how anything will work out. I will have to find out what the combat speed proposals are and work off of that. The whole speed formula could be changed.

Hi thanks for your time. Simply put Carbineer speed bonuses are not on par with Pistoleers and Riflemen (they are too low). This is not a nerf cry but a request to bring carbineer speed bonuses in line with pistoleers and riflemen. Each skill box that grants speed in each respective profession gives the least amount for Carbineers. Each box gives +6 for pistoleers (fastest weapon) and +10 for riflemen (slowest weapon) but only +5 for carbineers. Can that be upped a bit to +7 or so to bring it more in line with the pistol and rifle? Also at master each profession gets a an additional speed boost. +20 for pistoleers and riflemen but only +10 for Carbineers. Can the carbineers get a +20 to be consistent with the other 2 ranged weapon professions?


As it stands now Carbineers get a total of +35 for speed while Pistoleers get a +49 and Riflemen get a +65. With the changes I'm asking for Carbineers will get a +55 instead of a +35 to put them between Pistoleers and Riflemen and on par with the weapons intended result (slower more powerful than a pistol, faster less powerful than a rifle)

There's already a thread with almost 600 posts and not ONE dev response on the main forums....


A lot of it are just bumps of SOJ's findings, but still, 600 posts should speak volumes to the devs.

yeah but this is just a short hotfix.


Change the +5 to a +7 in the code. REAL fixes will take time. This is just a quick hotfix issue. . . hence the title

Do you actually believe that +8 speed will fix the class? (7 vs 5 times 4)


That box needs a progression of +5, +10, +5, +10 to have any difference and then either +15 or +20 at Master.


However, they are not going to hotfix this. Save yourself the frustration and don't bother.
