I dont care if your bounty hunter/doctor/medical skills make you uber, this board applies to carbineer things only.

Carbineer as an elite stand alone profession is very broken, and at a disadvatedge. Yes, you can offset this by picking up doctor or BH - but we should not be forced into other professions to be feasable.

There is nothing more aggrevating than reading numerous posts from ignorant bounty hunters(or even doctors for that matter) who also have carbineer skills, and state that carbineers are fine and not broken. If you want to argue about the condition of the carbineer class - then ONLY use things from the carbineer class. Saying carbineer shoot super fast because you have the carbine line in Bounty Hunter is not an adequate argument, because thats an entirely different profession.

While I'm glad you have chosen a certain template for your character, and figured out how to compensate, this doesnt change the fact that carbineers are very broken.

High HAM costs is a bug that needs to be addressed. Our speed improvements are the lowest of any elite ranged profession. Our defenses are the lowest of any elite ranged profession, and the one special defense we get is broken(then again so are everyones it seems).

I'm tired of seeing myself and others trying their best to get this profession some attention and fixed, and having bounty hunters/doctors/CHs/whoever saying the profession is fine simply because they have other skills that compliment it, and applying flawed logic to saying we are perfectly fine. Your entitled to your opinion, but when you start trying to STOP us from getting fixed, your crossing the line.

I'm not saying other professions arent more screwed up, but this is the *carbineer* board. We want to fix *carbineers*. I dont give a flying bantha poo about bounty hunter carbine speed/accuracy, or that carbineers work fine if you get doctor skills to buff yourself.

The fact is, we are broken and flawed.

On ALL of the combat boards there are many posts that are calling for the nerfing of BH and Commando abilities based on comparisons to professions, like yours that are badly broken.

As long as we are a target for half-truths and liberal interpretations we have a right to defend ourselves wherever the cry arises, as are you.

The simple fact is that as a combat elite class, carbineer is often mixed with other professions and that brings in all kinds of responses.

I support you in your fight for attention, I hope you get the fixes that you so badly need, but I won't stand by and watch the profession I chose get nerfed into oblivion without making a stand wherever and whenever.

You are basically complaining about the exact same thing the original poster is talking about. It is normally BHs, Docs, etc. coming here to these forums and telling us to quit whining because we are just fine with the added skills of another, viableprofession.

They don't seem to understand that fixing carbine will benefit them more as well....so I'm at a loss as to why ANYONE would post something like that (especially when it has already been verified by the devs).

I think its usually just Trollswho like to be contentious. You can usually pick them out because they love to throw around the "You must just not know how to play your profession right" argument.

there have been a few threads going about where we carbineers are trying to get attention directed to ourselves, and use OTHER professions as a basis for comparison. i think that people don't read everthing in the post, just assume that its calling for a nerf on said profession, and thus blast away. sadly, some people start threads with the intent to call nerfs on a profession based on it being more powerful than their own..and i fully support those who defend their own chosen profession against cries of nerfs.

just don't tell me that mine isn't broken because the parts that ARE broken don't affect YOU. =)

i also whole-heartedly support EVERYone who tries to get their profession fixed, and out of the 'broken' status (even the bane of my existence...ch's...gah! i hate 'em, and hate that i need 'em even more, but **edit** it! they have a right to work right and be a viable alternative!)
