Thread: Is there anything else to look forward to for me?
I'm a carbineer. my skills are 2-4-1-2.
of all the moves I have, only a couple I use. 95% of the time it's just crippling shot. if somehow action is very low, I'll target it with leg shot 3, which is of limited use beyond this because of its much lower damage than CS. I sometimes use action shot 2, but since they nerfed the down posture, not much. an action bleed isn't that great when crippling shot usually hits health.
charge shot occasionally gets me out of trouble with a mob that I'm trying to get to aggro my pet. but overall it's a very poor move because the knockdown element usually fails, and the crappy animation and standing up requirement.
scatter shot and wild shot seem 100% useless. burst shot is OK but it's basically the same thing as crippling shot, only not as good. so it's useless.
I occasionally use the AOE full auto but it seems buggy and inconsistent. I wish this worked better. I also seem to not get exp from some of the kills this way.
Anyway, I'm curious if anything else in this entire tree is actually really good besides crippling shot. crippling shot is a great move but no other move is really that impressive. nothing else that makes me go "cool! great."
burst shot 2? any good? I heard not.
scattershot 2/wild shot 2? I heard these aren't taht good either.
What about the sequels to charge and full auto area? heard they're bugged.
and it really is a disappointment that the master box doesn't grant a new move of any kind. what's up with that?
this tree needs a lot of tweakin -- unless I'm missing something?
beyond passive bonuses that'll make me fire off mycrippling shots a little better, is there anything else to look forward to?
