Thread: Full auto area 2
whoa, wildshot2 is area effect? I haven't gotten it yet but **edit** that'll be nice for PVP. What's the damage range on it?
that's pretty nice... I thought FAA2 was the best we had... I saw a Master Carbineer do about 500 damage to about 11 people with it in a single shotand I was like ![]()

If it matters, I heard that Stun reduces Ranged Defense, which is your defense against ranged attacks. The more ranged defense you have the more likely it is for a ranged attack to miss you. I can't confirm it.
aoe is a dangerous thing in PvP. Best be sure your targets are all pre-occupied before opening up with aoe or the Auto-Attack Gerbil of Doom will get you.
Funny thing happened to me outside of Bestine once.I happend ona nice tightly packed glob of overt imperials. Some had been nicely pre-chewed on, but all hadn't noticed me. So i'm thiking i'll be all ninja -slick like and lay down on top of a hill then open up with fullautoarea's to drop a few of the sickly ones and beat on the rest.

No sooner had I fired off the first fullautoarea, the whole **edit** mob auto-attacks. I got insta incapped by 9 auto-attack shots for about 100~250 a piece. Won the darwin award that day I tell you.
Beware less the AAGoD will get you too.
How well does full auto area 2 work? I'm tight on skill points, but would get it, if it's animprovement over area 1.

actionshot2 is area of effect at novice.... or at least it aggros lots of things you don't want aggro. ;-)
also, the devs have said that legshot3 should be AOE also.
anyhow... i didn't say we should be pre-nerfed before we are even uber. :-) just that people will be jumping on the bandwagon when carbineers start mowing down everything like [insert generic action hero]
if you are tight on points then get wildshot2 over full auto area 2. that line is built on weapon xp and full auto is built on combat xp. Also the wildshot2 discipline gives carbine speed which is always good.
