Thread: CARBINEER SOLO HUNTING ADVICE
Why not ask your friend how he solos them?

The one thing that allows Carbineers to solo things is the mob control factor. So in other words the posture changes and KD skills are what allows us to control a creature or mob and allow us to kill them. So I would recommend picking up our charge shot especially since they are lowering the timer on it. Second, its greatly debated over whether burst shot or cripple shot is more useful so the choice of which one of these to go up is your choice, but I would recommend doing the entire speed tree because that will bring you closer to the speed cap allowing you to shot faster and lay down more hits in a shorter time period.

If you add some good composite, docotor's buffs,a stack of good stimsand a Mk3 generator toyour arsenalyou might be able to either:
1-stack actionshot1, actionshot2 bleeds then warningshot kite the sucker to death.
2-stack the actionshot bleeds and spam chargeshot.
But either is a very risky proposition solo. Droideka are just plain evil.
Plus actionshot2 is aoe - I have died many times thinking "I'll just hasten the bleed on this one mob" only to hit 3 standing around behind it who get very irate =)
I admit to being too scared to drop CH before mastering Carbineer, as I have the feeling I'll have major problems without a GSP tanking while gathering experience.
I tamed some mountain krevols and rock beetles so I'll give them a shot. If they can tank CL 17+ things for me, I guess I'd drop CH 1100 and use the non-CH pets to solo.
Already, with CL17 missions, if the mobs reach me, I cook off pretty fast. Price you pay for being ranged, but pretty degrading to die to an angry cloud of blues hee hee.
