A friend and I were exploring Endor last night, checking out some of the static spawn sites that can be found on the Dev Structure Viewer. Found some cool things, some not so cool things....although the big success of the night was finding the Panshee Ewok tree village. Very cool content.

Anyway, we found a pack of Boar Wolf Ravagers at one of the spawn sites. Five animals altogether. We planned this out in advance....I would send my pet in to tank them, then sit back at 50 meters and fire Area Blast with my laser carbine while the Doc kept me healed.

It was a great success. Each shot was doing between 800-1500 damage in the Combat Window, with numbers more like 1000-2000 popping above the evil beasts' heads. My HAM was sucked dry after about 8 shots, but the Doc kept me healed and all five Boar Wolves were dead in about 45 seconds.

We both were amazed at how effective this shot was. Coupled with an opening Debilitating Shot, FullAutoArea2 served us well. I only wish we had more options like this one for crowd control.

try wildshot2.... it is even better with area of effect.

Warning: This info could be outdated. I've been doing military duty for the last 8 weeks.

If you never saw Dantooine, in the southern outpost, there was a great deal of people doing giant Baz Nitch missions. Since these missions were worth 10k cr and the lairs were 3 shottable (with some other exploits available for use) lots of people were doing these. The "nerf" of the situation was to make the non-agro, non-social baz nitches both extremely agro, extremely social, and extremely prolific.

Take a pet, go to Dantooine, find some baz nitches. Send the pet, make sure it gets good agro, make sure you don't have a lair in your line of fire, and let it rip. 120k carbine xp an hour and higher was possible. That was soloing too, and not to mention the 10k cr reward for slaughtering the war chickens.

Thats a great technique in general. Have something available to tank, step back and rip out area shots. Bahhhhhboooom helloooooo xp.

If you've been away 8 weeks, you might notice the Nitches are now on Dathomir. Also, lairs have been given 30000 hit points, so you have 0 chance of destroying lair before killing the animals. Once all the spawns in that lair are cleaned though, you can blow it.

The higher hp makes it better for xping anyways, just have some uber pets attack the lair, let creatures spawn, get all creatures to attack the pet and bam start spamming your area shots. XP so fast.

Wildshot2 is better, it's better AoE and takes less hams I think.

I usually go actionshot2,wildshot2,fullautoarea,wildshot2, wildshot2.

Then I have to heal myself.
