i am about to get novice carbineer (i am apprentice right now). and i am unclear which gun is better...the EE3 or lazer. i am using EE3 right now but i also have a laser too.

straight up, for get the number crap.

oh and what's the best carbine you can get. elite?

Elite is garbage - wait until it gets some love. Laser is usually your best bang for the buck, but keep that ee3 or buy a snubnose to use for close enemies.

Try and find a 50-270+3.5 speed (unsliced) laser carbine and you'll be happy for many days to come. The rest of the guns are situational (for me anyway) - the laser is my workhorse.

Weak to heat?Grab the ee3. Weak to acid? Grab the dx2. Breathing down your neck in melee distance? Grab the snubnose dh17 and hope you aren't about to visit the cloning facility.

90% of the timeI use the laser carb, only switching to dh17 if they get to me, and only switching to anything else rarely. I don't even bring my elite out with my anymore...

DXR6 is actually fine also for light armour....

dh17 I think has more DPS....so best for lairs, same with EE3... I'd rather use the dh17 though.

Laser, is for high armour... I generally don't use it because I don't like the dmg range..... I don' tlike doing cripple shots doing generally in the 200 area when I just wasted about 150 HAM's doing the special. Although is has the highest DMG output, just don't like the range of dmg.

I generally use a DXR6 for pvp.... as well as elite, but DXR6 mainly (for close range) elite for short range.

If you find a good slicer and a weaponsmith, you'll probalby get around 140- 230 after slice elite/dxr6. with power up like 150 to 280 or something.... which is fine with me...

I use a laser carbine for mid to long range work and a dxr6 forwhen im close or my target hasa high resist to energy.

DH17 damages sliced, super fast, half ham than Laser

- For PvP mainly, expecially putting on yoru bleads and using chargeshot.

Laser, damage or speed sliced, little harder hitting than DH17, AP2 for armored mobs, AR in PvP is all jacked up.

- PvE mostly, armored mobs.

- PvP for trying to get that hard hit with cripling shot to finish someone, but slow.

DXR6 For novilty, slow, decent min dmg, acid dmg for acid vurnable mobs.

Everything else is a waste of time.
