Thread: Scattershot1 and 2 Question

I have been reading the post and have seen the same problem I am having, but no answers why:
When using Scattershot 1 and 2....in the combat chat...i only do 1 point of damage to my target....on PoE, NPCs, and on PvP. I use a Laser Carbine.
Can some please tell me what is up? Very one seems to say ScatterShot is great...but with 1 point of damage...i don't see and would like too.

Ya it has done this as long as I can remember. I guess it is because it hits multiple pools so the damage spam can't give accurate numbers. I hardly ever watch the combat spam since it is so messed up. The numbers to watch are the ones above your target's head.

Have you also noticed that the target you hit takes damage? Watch their HAM or the number above their head. The 1 damage is just a minor display bug. Aside from that, scattershot is a nice special.

yes, scattershot is probably one of our very best shots....the only problem is it saying that it did "1 damage"...makes it so you cant be sure exactly how much damage it does each time.

It's confusing as hell, since even the damage numbers displayed above the target tend to get garbled when the scattershot hits multiple pools. Still, it's my special of choice when an enemy is low on Mind.
