I recently started grinding out a Bounty Hunter/Carbineer Template to replace my Pistoleer/Bh stuff...I was just wondering how you guys bring people down in PVP without a stun weapon? I mean my armor has 85% resists to Energy and Kinetic and 73% resists on everything else but stun..I plan on using the new Carbineer skills in more of a support role for group PVP, but I wouldn't mind being viable 1 on 1 as well...Also, can a rebel get the Imperial stocks for carbines? I plan to make a tricked out Elite to treat myself for finishing the grind...Any comments on this would be great.

And what makes you think it will work AFTER Publish 7?
Dizzy has a 1 in 15 chance of landing.....

I am doing this because of Publish 7, so try and factor in the new shots...

PvP with just carbine is pretty hard. You'll want to mix things up, make sure to land stun and blind, and keep on the move if you're fighting melee, using kd and posture changes to keep distance between you and them. You really don't stand a chance against riflemen at all, unless you have other skills. Not sure how it is on other servers, but on Wanderhome 50% or more of all PvPers are riflemen.

Carbineers aren't designed for solo PvP -- even Carbines as weapons are not (you can tell since the Devs paid very little attention to real carbine-style weapons)
You are correct, Armors in this game are impossible to penetrate unless you have a Stun weapon....but, armor does not stop state effects.
I'm there to FullAuto people to blind'em, Wild Shot to Stun'em (wild shot lands stun more often than FA series) and to KD people. I delay, annoy, and bother the enemy, so the big rifleman, stun armed pistoleers, eyeshot BHs, and heavy Melee fighters can do their bidding -- all the while I go usually ignored, constantly KDing and state-effecting people.
Even with BH line, Cripple Shot is fast, but absorbed.
