Thread: What to kill to get master carbineer
Same as every other profession....everything that moves.
I killed hundreds of Rav Tortons on Rori, which is where I live. That may not be the quickest, but it gave me a reason to use an EE3 
go to dantooine, get a full set of buffs, kill savage quenkers
they have armor rating none, and go down quick
3k xp each

This seems to be the general consensus here, too bad I never hunt on Dant. I should go there....no wait I am already Master Maybe that is why it took 7 months......
There are a lot of creatures in this game besides quenkers...
True, but if your a grinder they are hard to beat for the XP / hour.
When grouped with a mount / droid you'll pull in ~3.9K XP per. And with no armor, you can churn through these suckers with any combat profession. Get a set of buffs, and grind out the missions untill they wear off and you'll have gain 400 to 450K XP.
Sure, it kinda sucks the fun out of leveling, but that's the subject for another thread.
Col. Cristos Diaz stormtroopers maybe??
not as much xp, but sure fun to burn down!!

Perhaps. Then again grinders are of no concern to me as they will not be a Carbineer in 2-3 days.
Hey I grinded Carbineer on Quenkers...yet I've been a Master Carbineer for awhile now.
I did'em because they were the best XP and Cash for me, I got tired of just healing, rezzing, healing, rezzing, healing, buffing...so a week of grinding/fighting was fun.
Not ALL people who grind are bad. 
plus theres the hint of danger, because its POSSIBLE for them to catch up and incap you and they do deathblow....i've always liked a challenge. using a laser carbine with +30% speed/+15% min damage powerup it was always FAS2, FAS2, FAS2, AS1, FAS2, FAS2, (dead somewhere after this point) FAS2, CS1 until it sticks, Crippling Shot(or 1 or 2 more FAS2 if you dont have crippling yet) = almost always dead. i made a macro out of it, called it "DIE WAR GRONDA!!!" . of course, it relied heavily upon having food buffs with me, tatooine sunburn and ryshcate were(and still are until my crates run dry) my friends....before charge shot 1 was fixed my favorite targets were rancors, though i didnt do them very frequently
. but most of my hunting was done on corellia(nice to be able to hunt from the comfort of your home-city)and you took 7 months, firehawk? w00! *high fives yet another non-grinder!* somehow i got the impression that you mastered early on...
