Why is it when i use this in the combat log it always says i hit for 1 point of dmg i have used this on many different things and always says the same thing, sorry if this has been asked before.

Yes this has been asked many times and I believe there are 2 posts on the first page dealing with this......
All I can say is if you are only doing 1 pt of damage, why are you not cloning? Hmmmm.....watch the target's HAM, not the combat log.....it works fine and is just a display issue.

Why am i not cloning ? 
I was watching the ham also i looked like i was doing more dmg than what the log said i was just curious about this, i saw the ham drop but noticed it said 1 point of dmg, i normally don't watch the combat log i happen to be going between spatial,guild and group chat and hit the wrong tab and thats when i noticed the amount of dmg i hit for.
This makes sense thanks for the reply.

make a seperate window for you combat logs, or just merge it spatial...i put my combat window seperate and then have a tab where i get Guildchat/GroupChat/Tells...and then there's spatial but i mostly ignore spatial
