As you all know (or hopefully know) the Devs are actually working to make life a little easier by every other week answering one question for each profession. The question must be clear, concise, mature, and relevant.

To make life easier on Novamarine so he doesn't have to rope us into organization...let's see what we can come up with for him to check out.

If you had a chance to ask a developer one-straight forward question about our profession...what would it be. Please try to avoid vague and incomplete questions, because if anything we have been shown that vague questions lead to zero or incomplete answers.

For me personally, my question would be something similar to...

"Is it possible to add an armor piercing bonus to certain special attacks? Crippling Shot for example, could add an AP1 attack to whatever Carbine used with it -- giving it that extra punch to be a "crippling blow."

Everyone post your questions/thoughts here -- making sure that they are relevant, and worthy of being only a "single" question --a limit, but a start!

My question would be

"I've noticed you have been really kind to Rifleman recently with tons of new weapons, is there any plans for some high end carbines similar to the DXR6b Rifle and Beserker Rifle in schematic acquisition and loot requirements for construction?"

my question is:

"will carbineers be getting more speed anytime soon? the only way to be a a true effective carbineer is getting the mods from BH. but by doing that you have hardly any defenses, and not enough medic skills to survive. so basically we carbineers are screwed"

ok So wording would be this I guess:

"Being that Carbines only have 3 damage types and that this handicap prevents us from engaging in high end content like the nighsisters,

when will Carbineers get new damage types and what damage types will they be?"

sound good?

My single question would be this:

When Carbineers recieve new carbines, can we expect respectable damage (not 4x min to 2xx max more like 1xx min to 3xx max) with good Armor Piercing (ap1 : good ,ap2: great) and a few different (new to carbine) damage types?

We need a new carbine. When are we getting a new weapon (or two, since riflemen have gotten 3in the last 2 patches) and what type of stats can we expect.

I really like this question, and since Novamarine is back hopefully he can shed some light on what question he believes should also be asked and his opinion on this question.

I like the idea of having a speed related question. Maybe something like the following "Will carabineers be getting any speed adjustments in the future, or will the ranged profession speed issue be reevaluated in any way? Right now carabineers are at a severe disadvantage because we have an extremely difficult time reaching the speed cap, whereas other rangedprofessions reach it at master, or get very close even with there slowest weapon, and therefore easily outdamage us. This posses numerous problems for theCarbineer (ie. Leveling carbine skills, competeing in PvP, overall gameplay: destroying mission bases, etc.)

My biggest problem dealing with speed is rifleman hitting the speed cap so easily and the insane amount of damage they do. That is mainly an issue in pvp though. I still think carbineers should be alot faster than what we are. At master we shoot our slowest special at the attack speed of the weapon, or something close to that (Im not exactly sure). So with a standard laser carbine with a speed of 3.5 we almost have to rely on a speed slice in order to do any sort of real damage to anything. Even if we are a 'state applying class' we should be able to apply states quickly. Damage seems ok, but speed is significantly slow, so my votefor the one question would be speed related.

Actually after reading this:

Forgotten? No. It's just that we're pretty much grouped in with *all* of the combat professions when it comes to fixes. IE they're going to put everything into the combat balance that the speed formula and ham changes (along with special changes, etc) will fix the combat professions...

...from the pikeman forum, I would have to swich my vote a new carb related question.

Yeah we need new carbines with different types of damage. I vote for this question.

I think the question of new carbines is on most carbineer's minds so i think that is the best idea for the community. Just we should be sure to word it more towards the carbineer proffession and away from the rifleman got one, now gimme gimme!.

Personally what is on my mind is Carbine Speed and the combat Rebalance.
