Well, I have now got 49 points freed up and I'm thinking of putting some into medic. Where do you think it would be best spent and how many points is enough to make a difference? Already got Novice Medic. Thanks guys.

Honestly I rarely use a Stim B anymore with being buffed 99% of the time. And even when I used Stim B's like candy, I never had more than Novice Medic.

Yeah, I know what your saying. I droppped my BH carbs and a bunch of scout and I'm kinda just looking to round out my character some. I don't really have any interest in meleand don't see myself putting down a carbine to pick up another ranged wepon. I carry artisan 0004for the cash I make from selling resources. Any suggestions?

First Aid for bigger heals, Diagnostics for faster heals, Pharmacology for access to better stimpacks.
If you get somewhere near medic 4440 you can heal very well and pretty fast, but that's normally most useful in groups and currently probably only on the Corvette, heh. I'm only half kidding.
I would recommend getting First Aid anyway (the left tree). It does give you the First Aid skill at the second box to treat bleeds. If you're not sure, pick up some decent B's and get this tree first then see how it goes. If you just want to heal yourself once in a while diagnostics is probably a waste.

I have 0040 so I am able to use stim Es. This are great for when your buffed, the average heal is like 1000+. Really helps when your fighting high end mobs. But if your fine with just using Bs I would say go up the first aid tree and the speed tree. Even one box of the speed tree (whatever its called, i dont remember) is noticably faster.

I'm a Master SL/Master Carb/4-3-0-0 Medic. I put the 4 into First Aid for /firstaid and better heals, and the 3 in order to get /drag. I'm a big team player, so being able to drag teammates away from battle when they're down is pretty important to me.

Personally, I love being a Master Doctor, but it's quite a skill point investment...
although several of my guildies have enough of the Pharmacology tree to get MU 30... I make special Stim C's for them... I think it is 0-0-3-0 (can't remember right now though)
or you could go for injury treatment speed, for faster heals... (can't remember the tree name... first aid??) also first aid (the skill)is GREAT for stopping bleeds on yourself and allies/pets/etc...
