Thread: Armor question for the kneecap breakers out there

So if I were to wear legs and boots and somebody was attacking me nonstop with legshots, what would the hit distribution look like?
50% legs 50% boots?
I was thinking of testing this out tonight, but perhaps somebody already has the data for me!

Right now there is a "creative loophole" in the armour system that when wearing just boots, all the shots that would normally be targeted at the action pool is resisted by the boots. Even if no leggings are being worn. If you wear boots and leggings then the 50/50 applies.

Are you sure its 50/50 if you wear both?
Yes I know about the 4 piece suit

The Combat log reports both the leggings and boots resisting damage. Not completely sure if the ratio is exactly 50/50, but the two peices decay at approx. the same rate, so if anything it isn't much more than 40/60 in either direction.

I've gone through more boots than pants, myself. I still think the distribution is skewed.
