The Carbineer Profession will no longer be a profession of its own in Star Wars Galaxies, however, Marksman and Bounty Carbines will be kept in the game. All Carbineer certified carbine weapons will be moved to either Marksman or Bounty Carbines (or both). The Carbineer Profession Development Team will collaborate with the Bounty Hunter Profession Development Team post-patch.

I' ve been master carbineer since march. Its gota be one of the worst combat profs, but i kept it in good faith that it would be fixed in the rebalance.... but its being removed?!?!?

Some things are so unbelievable that I am amazed at them actually being repeated.....geesh....

Carbineer is not going away any time soon.

sorry people quoting without showing their sources, history student, should know better... but i had to go out to a lecture and had the post thrust in my face 2minutes b4 i left.

thanks for that kind 1 star... keeping carbineer so long its nice to get something for my trouble, and i can wear that little star on my scout cargo vest as a little sherif badge.

I hope they fix carbineer, when i said it was the worst combat prof, i meant... you get nothing at master and you need "skill" to be able to use it properly... unlike say commando which is basically just /flame2.

its not a bad profession, or i wouldnt have kept it so long. lol Im glad they aint deathblowing it, and sending it the way of the blue glowy.

Man they also made a big mistake. Pistoleer can't dual wield because it's impossible to add it into the game, but for some reason its no problem to a jedi... what up?
