I have just cancelled my SWG account and wanted to take this oppourtunity to thank the many fine players in the Carbineer community. You guys are without a doubt the best players in the game. Being a Carbineer is not an easy thing to do but just like in RL the most rewarding things are often not the easiest. I have been a Carbineer for all of my SWG days and enjoyed it very much. I absolutly loved the fact that even at Master and BH Carbs I had to implement stratagy to be successfull.
SWG was my first MMORPGexpierence and for the most part I had a great time. I will not bash SoE for providing me with a game I played for over a year and thoroughly enjoyed. Anyways I am leaving because it just no longer interests me. I have done all the things I wished to do and many more. I plan on spending my gaming time with EQ2. I don't know if it will hold my attention as long as SWG did but it does look pretty good so far. Maybe I will see some of you there.
I wish you guys all the best. I know TA will do a great job representing us...err...you during the combat whatever. I hope that all goes well with that. For anyone on the fence on JTL, I think you should give it a try.I played all though beta and had a blast. Moreover the Dev team was very responsive and really worked hard to get the communities input and make the nessesary changes. I belive thisphilosophy will carryover the the combat reupgradebalance.
I know someone is bound to ask sofor those of you on Eclipse drop me aPM with what you needand I will try to hook you up. I'm not going to go into specifics with what I have but like I said earlier Carbineer is all I've been so....
Thanks again for being such a great community.
Doq
edit: my account exipires on 11/02 so if you want anything be sure to let me know this weekend.

If more people had access to the info I saw today there would be a lot more excitement in the community
Well for one I am always under an NDA, so that is nothing new to me. And the community would just find something to b!tch and complain about, so no they don't need to know anything at this point.
With the way SOE has been treated (some deserved and some not) I don't blame them for not saying a thing until it is written in stone.....and since the testing on the Sandbox can change so much, they have very little to say in the way of details to the general public.

See you Doq, you're one of the smarted people here on the forums. Always had a good opinion and a level head. Good luck.

Gonna miss you doq, you were one of the people not constantly whining or flaming. That is what made this community great.

Full respect to a fellow Carbineer. I regret not knowing you as many praise your steady temperament and advice to colleagues. Good luck to you.
