Hello all,
I've been away for a long time from SWG (last i was on dantooine was an empty planet and Creature Handler's were just starting to get nerfed) and now that i've come back i need your assistance. When i left my stats were screwed up pretty bad and i myself were partly caused for it because i had no idea what to do with them. The following are what they currently are at:
Health: 838
Strength: 307
Constitution: 598
Action: 890
Quickness: 670
Stamina: 388
Mind: 896
Focus: 371
Willpower: 406
My plan right now is to become a doctor or combat medic with an assisting profession (so you might want to keep that in mind if that is relevant stat wise cause i know doctors need that mind to heal). I wanted to have it be the 0400 Carbineer 0400 Bounty Hunter Model route since it helps people who plan on using carbines so much but it turns out that if one wants to be a doctor or Combat medic that theres just not enough skill points to go around...(should have known...). So now im not sure what to do, any of you carbine guys have some idea's? For those wondering why i posted it in this forum i did so for two reasons 1.) A nice guy in game told me you guys were really friendly and helpful compared to other profession forums and 2.) I've alwaysbeen partial to carbines (which is why i really want to duo it up with doctor but i dont see how- thought one of you guys might have been in the same position). One last general question not related to the previous one (or this forum for that matter but im looking for an outside opinion so here it goes-): Right now i have 3-3-3-3 in creature handling (from back in a time when CH's use to rock) and from what i hear now is that i should just drop all of them (which i kinda hesitate doing because it took me so long to get to even there way back when). Has CH really become that useless/ not viable? In the end i dont mind dropping it if it means being able to play more effectively (since while its cool to have a challenge, but its also cool to have fun), it would just mean having to pick and choose through some pets that were dear and loyal to me so long ago.
Thanks for all your help, time, and assistance in answering any questions you could,
Morbidel

Well with buffs your stats don't matter any more....
You and you alone can only decide how you want to play and what template to build.....but once you pick a play style and a template, then we can comment on it from our own experiences.
CH and Carbineer make on of the best PvE combinations around....somebody telling you to just flat drop CH without finding how you want to play is not helping you at all. I was Master CH, then dropped it, now have 0444 CH back

I know that stats arent as important as they were with buffs but i would like to get good base stats set up for when im not buffed, because right now i think there pretty screwed up.
