ok i know i wil get a lot of poistive input towards carb bc this is the carb board.i am hoping to get input from someone who has had my temp before.i am curently mbh/master rifleman/novice cm (going for cm4xxx naturally).I am considering going carbs but needed some info fast!!!

atm i am not interested in state attacks(ie knockdown/crippling shot) in this comparison.

how do carbs compare to rifles in raw damage output?i hit pretty hard with adv sniper shot and imp headshot as it is...but my action drains pretty quickly(which sucks when fighting 36k marks as bh)

I hear carbs do pretty much equivalent raw damage output when compared to rifles(with adv critical shot and leg shot that is).

plus i am tired of waiting for sniper shot to recharge and filling it in with a "pea shooter" attack like headshot.

do carbs in general attack more quickly than do rifles....i mean in actual combat situations not based on stats?

just kinda fill me in on different advantages/advantages of both....bc rifles is getting old and i fel as though i am too much like a fotm...

not to mention the fact that bh has always enthralled me and boba fett seems to be a bh/carbineer himself lol

As far as raw damage: the e-11 and elite carbines cap at 1063 damage (and 73 sac). I think an ALR is around 1140, not exactly sure. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how min damages compare, but against lvl 80+ targets, it's equally important. From what I've experienced carbines tend to be much faster than rifles. I believe speed cap on the ALR is 1.6, and I very rarely see it that low, good carbines are often that or lower after a slice. Rifleman may argue me on this, but in a far majority of situations I see carbines out DPSing rifles, andwith lower sac cost for this reason.

I'm sorry I can't give you better hard data on this, but weapon crafting being as it is, you see a lot of variance in stats. That makes it kinda hard to put up a solid comparison of stats between weapons.

Also, I believe I am correct about this: a non crit hit critical shot is the same damage as leg shot, and both are slightly stronger than headshot. Sniper shot is more powerful than all, but the large warmup really negates it since you can't do damage quickly.

The main point however, is that I do believe that alternating Crit shot/Leg shot with a carbine is going to out dps a rifleman with equivalent equipment using any specials. In addition, at 73 sac, you should be able to keep this up for a large string of attacks. If you put a sac pup on top of that and eat good foods, you should be able to keep it up almost indefinitely.
