Thread: Getting Worked in PvP...Need help!
Have to agree with the poster above. At the moment heals are much better than defense. You'd be well advised to drop that line of rifles and get whatever you can in healing.
aside from that here are somebasic pvp tips
1. You are a ranged template so you want to be kiting. Yes it will irritate the piss out of your opponent but that's just kind of how it is. Stay as far away as your weapons and the terrain will alow you.
2. Use terrain and line of sight to your advantage if you begin taking too much damage. (this is particularly useful in group combat as the enemy may decide to go for a different target ifline of sight prohibits them fromhittingyou)
3. Know your role and that of the people around you(assuming you are fighting in a group). If your job is damage then do damage. Let the healers heal and the tanks tank.(it's important for you to be able to heal yourself should the need arise but it's also important that you not spend all your time healing if your group is relying on you for damage)
the melee/ranged defense foods are broken atm
the best thing to do in PVP is get in a good group..get on vent or TS if you have it.
what we do (the ranged) in PVP is stick in a tight, tight formation..we're always within 50m (even the rifles) so everyone can shoot, and with 5-6 ranged guys blasting the same target, nothing stays up for long. if anyone focuses on anyone in our group, the area heal of CM done by 2-3 guys takes care of the problem real fast
so, imo, the best GROUP is what's gonna make you win, the foods and other stuff (sea's, etc) are just a little boost

Doctor is a waste of SP. Too many invested for what, a few extra points of healing? Why not just FOTM it and get MCM and the last tree of pistols, or the line of carbs that has leg shot?
