Hey, guys. Looking for some advice on powering up mynew Elite carb. It's basically SAC or Damage.

UnPuPed stats:

Unmod Speed: 2.01

Mod Speed: 1.18

Damage: 432 - 1063

Acc Bonus: 56

Base DPS: 372.29

Mod DPS: 630.39

SAC: 73

(following stats are only what's changed)

Damage Powerup:

Unmod Speed: 2.26

Mod Speed: 1.33

Damage: 571 - 1202

Mod DPS: 664.75

SAC Powerup:

Acc: 47

SAC: 51

So what do you guys think? Of course, I could throw on a scope or something to add to the acc. Which would be the best PuP for this gun?

And the answer is: many people would go with the SAC, but what actually is better for you, you find out best by using the gun...

I think you will find that you will want to use a damage pup sometimes, but a SAC pup most of the time. Nice thing about pups is that you can switch 'em out at will. Always keep a crate of both on you.

Yeah, I've ended up mostly using a SAC PuP.

And hit almost as hard as if you'd go with 300 dps and SAC pup...

This is a very naturally balanced carbine, no flaw in any of the stats. Because of this, the pup you should use depends on the situation. If you fight with a doctor speed buff, I would say sac pup, no question. If you have no speed buff, it depends what you're fighting.

A speed pup, which most people don't consider, is excellent for a quick kill, probably only applicable in pvp.Clever things to do in pvp. with it: 1) go balls to the wall with your opening attack, hope for an incap before you run out of action. 2) pace yourself, stick to mostly ranged shots to keep your action up. If you see an opening, give em everything you got. By opening I mean you catch them with 1/2 health or less, or their aura/cob/... falls.

Damage pupsare good for general use. For fights that last under 3 or 4 min, I'd go with this. I tend to keep these on most of the time. If I get into intense fighting that's lasting a long time I'll take it off and move to a sac pup.

Sac pup is probably you're best bet all around. This is the safest option, and you can't really go wrong with it. The only complaint I would have with using this all the time is that, if you're action bar is sitting at full, that's wasted dps. What I mean is, if your action is getting drained, that means that you could be putting out more damage.

It really depends a lot on the situation and personal fighting style. I would reccomend keeping all pups with you. Try out different pups in different situtations, ideally you do want to be draining your action, just slowly, slow enough that you don't run out by the end of the fight.
