Hiho,

i saw on the TC that there are some Carbin Certs in other proffessions than Carbineer, e.g. at Bounty Hunter.

Does this mean that their will be Carbines in the game that i as a Master Carbineer won't be able to use? If yes, i think it should be changed. As a highliy trained professional carbine user, i should be able to use all possible carbines.

What do you think about this?

I can't seem to find the cert for Proton carbine - the only carbine I really, really want
Does anyone know where it's place? Feels like I've looked everwhere (Squad leader, carbineer, Bounty hunter, smuggler, etc)

A lot of weapons are used by more than 1 prof.....just look at BH/Commando/CM/SL/Smuggler/Marksman/Brawler. A Master Carbineer is not the end all, be all of Carbines....there are hybrid profs that use them too.

There are those of us that think multiple locations for a weapon cert would help solve this issue, but we shall have to wait and see if the Devs do anything for us or not.....

This is not correct, at least it is not a WS craftable cert in Commando.....

It could be a loot cert but those aren't showing on the weapons on TC5 right now. And I have the latest posted Skill Trees in the Corr Forum and it isn't there either.....so if Master Commando gets this Carbine nobody but a RED NAME would know, not even the Corrs know. And ripping the TRE files doesn't help as we have already discussed that with the Devs....

BTW, it is the Proton GRENADE Cert in Master Commando

It's looking like commando's get the massasi ink rifle certed to them, so its highly likely tha they won't get the proton carbine. It would be weird if they got the proton carbine, but not the proton rifle.....

hmmm, BH doesnt have a Master cert weapon (do they? cant recall). I'd say that's where the proton carb goes.

I'm ok being master carbineer and not allowed to use all the carbines - bh is a hybred profession with specific skills and needs different from other professions. If they need carbines to fulfill the funcion of their profession that would make sense.
