This Carbine has not been cert'd yet and/or is a loot weapon that has the cert on the weapon itself, not in the Skill Boxes.

Nevermind, misread a message on BH forum. Still no word where this one sits.

As the post on the BH forum said, a person wearing the Novice Carbineer tag was carrying the Geo Carbine around. While it could be possible they picked up the cert in another prof, lets just take this as a FACT that a Carbineer gets the Geo Carbine.
I can't verify the location of the cert yet and of course it could change, but that is the info.....I think the link to the BH thread is in the Needler thread here.....for those that want to read the original post

This Carbine was originally cert'd at 0200 Carbineer, but now all certs (but Master Level Weapons and maybe a couple others) will be level/prof/race certs instead of in a skill box.

I agree on that one... better whacking the enemy with a heavy club (rusty nail included) than touching that ugly thing...
Really???? Most people think that it is the worst looking Carbine we have....but to each his own

when i first heard about the geo carbine, i thought GREAT, carbines get stun. then they release info about 2 kinds of damage and well, this is now just another energy weapon to me. i have plenty of those to choose from.

whyn doesnt this carbine shoot like the geo pistol? when i used it had dumb red bolt the geo pistol shot really neat and this gun needs to shoot like that.

Thats exactly what Id like to know. All guns should both look different and shoot different particle effects. This way people can distinguish what weapon you are using. Needless to say it would also look cool.
