The Devs have yet to adjust the damage on this Master Level Carbine for the new system.

Kinda lame that this is the master carbine. . . same with the scatter and LLC at master BH. Ah well, this isn't the development forum.

the elite now has master level damage, around 400 - 900

but

it seems to no longer be a master carbineer weapon

combat level required: 54

skill required: none

on TC4 anyway

Im glad to see this will be a lvl 54 weapon. As iv alwased liked this carbine best. Cant wate to see how my pvp carb gets converted...at least as a master carb it will get the best side of what ever conversion forumla they use.

Your toon has nothing to do with the conversion of items.....the formula is the same for each item, no matter if you can use it or not.

I bought a pretty good Elite just for this.

Remove the Jedi from the game or the GCW, there is no other option.

And most certainly a newly crafted Carbine after the CU will be better than a converted one....I suggest waiting but I don't have any data/figures to back up the claim, just a gut feeling I have

And you are probably right, but I got a fairly good deal on it, so no point in passing it up.

Besides, if nothing else I can put it on my wall with my 20 other guns hehe.

Based on some limited weaponsmith testing: While some converted weapon components turn out better than crafted ones, the actual weapons themselves seem to turn out better if they're crafted after the CU. I managed to make a laser carbine with +59 tissue that was faster and more damaging than the one I made pre-CU with +80ish tissue.

Now if only they'd fix the bug where crafted weapons all turn out with stun damage instead of energy/weapon.
