Carbineer Archive

I'm a novice carbineer, using a laser carbine. I've tested this out enough now to know my eyes aren't playing tricks on me. When I lay prone, my weapon VERY often doesn't fire. I'll be at least 30 meters from my target, seldom more than 40. I'll try aimed shot, regular shot, Full Auto Single 2, Leg Shot 2 - all of them, NADA. No message that I've hit for damage or missed, no damage to the enemy. Just the type of shot disappearing from my battle window and the critter/NPC starting to run toward me.

The odd thing is, in all my testing of this, the weapon HAS fired a few times. But never consistently enough that I can note any pattern. I've tried this now with 3 different laser carbines, so it's not the particular weapon itself.

Any thoughts?
