Thread: So i was on test.. and lookin at the carbine tree..

And the countersurgery line had +20 counter attack in every box at master it added ANOTHER 25! total +105 in that one line to counter attack!





Been there... Done that..

That's pretty cool... I guess...


But... It just seems that 105 would do something as is... Not sure if 130 will be any better :/


And until it actually makes us counter attack, i'm not sure it would be worth having just for a renamed dodge...


I hate being cynical :/

I'll take a renamed dodge for now, because at least that means I can dodge. When they actually figure out how to put the 'attack' in counterattack, I will be very happy!


Did you happen to see any other differences in our skill mods?

if you're doing counter attack everytime you get attacked, do you still get hit? I don't really understand cause I get hit but I also counter attack... I'm not dodging anything.

I feel it should mirror back some damage to the attacking mob... Hence: Counter Attack


Seems pretty easy, no?

On the test center, I was getting hit and when I would counter-attack I wouldn't take any damage, atleast that I noticed. However, counter-attack hasn't fired back yet as it should. Therefore, right now it's still just a dodge however you dodge a lot more often.

But cheer up guyz, at least this time we avoid the funny animations that dodge has. So we dodge/counter/block whatever without having to stop to do an animation (I think pistoleers are gonna scream about that a few days after tc patch goes live)

Well, that comes into the new tanking ability. You lose offensive ability for defensive ability. That means your turn is used to dodge instead of attack. That's fine with me, but if I wanted to do it every other shot, I'd go pistoleer. I'd rather do more damage and take more, personally.
