Soj is a good guy and all, but is he loud enough? I mean the devs overlook us so much i'm wondering if he is getting the message through to them or not. He really needs to get loud or i will have to switch to something else. I wanted to love carabineer, but it is a joke. Everyone knows it is one of the most, if not the most broken class by itself. I don't want to flame Soj, but something drastic needs to be done, and if that means getting a new correspndent then i'm all for it. I am giving carabineer 1 more month. I have been one since release and my patience has run dry. Soj, you really need to step it up or something. The devs don't even seem to realize how broken we are.

What do you guys think? Is Soj doin his job compaired to other correspondents? Or do the devs just want everyone to quit carabineer so that it is one less class for them to fix. I know the devs are a joke and all, considering how much money they make on this game. They are about as good as AC2's devs and they have like 3000 subscribers if that. But, this class has gone far to long without a fix, and the upcoming stuff just hurts us more.

1 month for something to happen and if that means a new correspondent then i vote yes.....sorry Soj, but you gotta step it up a notch.

The problem is with the SWG Team, not SOJ. Even at this point, he has inklings of what will be done, but is not allowed to tell us. Ain't that a peach?

Look over SOJ's posts. Read what he said, and the work he has put in to getting us data on our class. I also made a retard out of myself with a post quite like this one.

You know what I REALLY like about SOJ. Every few days there is this type of post. I have not seen him light anyone up yet. He explains his POV, and is civil as can be. Nice guy that SOJ.

Well, I'm trying but I really can't promise anything. On the discussion forum I have access to dev communication, however, that doesn't exactly mean I'm always in touch. It also doesn't mean that anything I request is going to be done. They could, also,be too busy to work with us and etc.

This may be contrary to others, but we don't exactly get a lot of air time with the devs. They really are a pack of busy people. With the new assistant, it appears that he will be the one working with us and working with us a lot. He will be the guy who will hear it from all the correspondents who will lay it on thick, I'm sure. As far as any updates on that is, I believe our assistant is almost ready to take us on so I'm kind of eager and interested to see what happens with this. I hope for a more positive connection with the devs and more feedback.

#3. None of the correspondants are "getting it done." They are all being ignored by the Devs.

Even if SOJ were to yell loud enough what's the point. Look at every single correspondant report that has been responded too and look at what has been addressed in those reports.

Here's a clue. Practically nothing.

It's not SOJ's fault that nothings getting done. It's the devs plain and simple.

I won't call you a retard but I will say you are dead wrong for blaming your woes on SOJ.

First of all back off of SOJ's case, hes doing his job and is trying to be as professional about it as he can. It doesn't help him or us as a community when people come on our forums and try to lay the blame on him for our profession not being fixed.

Second, if you ever took the time to read the Dev's post you would actually see them state how they have a list of what profession has what kind of priority and my biggest guess would be that this ladder of priorities falls greatly upon which ones have more people. So as being the smallest combat profession in the entire game, we get shafted most of the time since every other combat profession will always come before us.

And therein lies the catch-22:

We're the smallest combat profession because carbiniers are so messed up and no one wants to play a "weak" profession. (personally, I wouldn't trade carbines for anything)

-but-

No one plays as a carbinier, so we are low priority for getting fixed.



If this cycle keeps up, we're never getting fixed.

I gotta say that dang SOJ guy....is doing all he can for the profession.

We are one of the smallest classes in the game, and as such are not at the top of the Dev fix list. At some point they'll fix the class or wewill be see Carbineer die from attrition. Either way, our correspondent is all I would ask for in a representative for our profession.

Ok, i thought it over and i am somewhat retarded. I have seen many patches with fixes to many professions and the people on the boards thank the correspondents for the changes they recieved. I thought maybe Soj was slacking or something. I really do like Soj, and i don't want to flame him. I just want something done soon. Sorry Soj if i made you feel bad or anything.

I just want.....need something done soon or i quit the profession. The catch-22 thing we got going is lame as hell and so i will now place all the blame on the devs and not Soj. They are monkeys i think. Really. I just wanted some opinions about Soj and the work he has done so far.

Again Soj, not meaning to be mean, but i'm sure you too feel the pain that is felt by most carabineers and understand our frustration. I love carabineer and all and the thought if it working correctly is a great one to ponder.

Name doesn't bother me nor does showing concern. It doesn't "get to me" that people may think like that because they are being honest and showing concern for their profession. Everyone here wants to see the carbineer class fixed and I've done my work with reports and such. Screaming won't do any good and hounding may get one somewhere but I don't think it will be received well. Like I've said before, we've pretty much accepted the fact that we work on their time and when they need us we lay our thoughts and problems on them thick.
