I'm admiring pretty much every other combat class now except TK.
Rifleman has a bajillion different rifles (BTW: The new Berserker rifle does heat damage. That means we will now have *NOTHING* good over rifleman). Don't forget the DXR6b they got recently!
Pistoleer got the new Stun Pistol
The acklay bones are making some wicked melee weapons (Then again, melee hasn't had a krayt-ish bonus at all yet, so I guess this fixes things)
The scythe is sooo cool looking.
Carbineer hasn't gotten anything new or interesting at all recently, while the other professions are getting new stuff out the ass.("Enhanced" E11? Don't make me laugh)
I'm wondering if I should even bother attempting to finish off carbineer, and just drop what I already have for Rifleman or 2-H Swordsman
Now, I don't do *much* combat, and what I do is PvE, so I like to be wearing a flashy weapon when I'm out fighting (gotta advertise the wares!)

I'm a weaponsmith / Carbineer myself and wouldn't drop carbines for anything. Sure riflemen have been lucky with all the new weapons they get and the scythe is ok. Personally I would recommend you keep MWS and MC and do Swordsman 0-4-0-4. Had this template awhile ago and it's pretty damn good for PvE and also for PvP.

I would only assume that you will get your day in the sun. Hopefully there is some new carbines coming down the pipe for you boys. You just got your fixes now we can only hope you get some flashy new guns!

I'm stickin with carbines now I was Pistoleer and I'm done with that never wanna go back. I would and always liked rifleman but I'll never do it cause everyone has it. I like the new changes to carbines but our dmg is really bad in pvp, I'm gonna stick it out till we get fixed tho.
I was also a weaponsmith/carbineer for awhile, now I'm a BH, gotta hunt those jedi to extinction.

you'll be waiting forever for changes that will never come. Drop carbine and take up rifle or TK. Carbine will NEVER be worth the trouble.

The way I look at it is:
Right now, Riflemen are getting absurd amounts of dev luvin.
So, get while the gettin's good, eh?
That way, I don't go the other way : Master carbineer, drop it, and *THEN* watch as the devs give carbineer some loving
