Thread: Hello all my fellow carbineers!
You asked how long it took for me to master. lol oh man... it took me 3 months. NO Joke. Granted I wasn't grinding until the last month but still. Here are some good tips.
1. Beware of REAL carbineers. We don't mind helping people at all, but we do have a sore spot for holo-grinders. Hell you could lie to us and it would be all the same to us.
2. Get a Nyms Carbine from Lok. Its super easy, no cert and will get you to novice quickly. From there I'd carry a DXR6, a Scoped Laser, and if possible a Krayt D17 Snub Nose. reasons being Acid is our "other" damage, the laser is Med AP, and the Krayt D17 snubbie is low ham with good damage.
3. Crazed Gurreks on Endor, Pickets on Dant ( i think) and Savage Quenkers are all good targets. Another idea would be to find out what docs need this week and spend time hunting and harvesting. That way you get xp and cash to buy buffs or guns.
4. Buffs are best but I have a fav combo of food I use. 1 Gammoral (Str Cons Health drink) 1 V Brandy (Duh) 1 Scrimpi (Action food) and 1 Kiwik Clusjo Swirl (quicknes and Stamina) You can eat all at one time. Also they end up lasting a while and you can re-eat as soon as they run out.
5. ADV Ubese rocks the house. Try to get some pants sliced for Encumerance and you're set.
