Thread: Need help with Non-Master Template (Cara/BH)

Hi, I saw the different discussions about Master Carabineer and BH-Skills to support the Carabineer.


What I'm thinking about is:


Carabineer 0420

Bounty-Hunter 3400


With some other skills I wouldn't have any points left. Compared with a standard Master Carabineer I would have an increase in speed of 25 and in accuracy of 40. Sounds not that bad to me. The only issue could be that I don't have all styles... but is this a real problem?


What do you think about this template? Please take into account that I can't invest any more skill-points... so the only way to change something would be mitigating the skill-points in this two trees.

actually, you have enough to be master carbineer and 3400 bh for hunting jedis too

as mentioned i don't have any skill-points left to invest. so master carabineer is no option. why do you think it is awesome? unusual yes but awesome? i think this template would combine some pretty good skills from the carabineer including crippling shot for damage, action shot 2 for bleeding, leg shot 2 (and later 3) for stun and also all the bh-skills for kd, dizzy, etc. combined with carabine speed of 85 and accuracy of around 170 (both without any enhancers) doesn't sound that bad... in fact the speed and accuracy is higher than a sole carabine master!

The build you suggested with have speed, accuracy and as a result damage. However you will be missing almost all of the defenses including range damage mitigation, counterattack and range defense. You will have decent offense, but should that fail, you are a sitting duck. In addition, you will be missing some of the best carbineer specials which include /burstshot1 and 2, fullautoarea2 and the chargeshot series.

So in other words he'll be just like your typical BH?

I don't see that it's that easy. With the BH-Trees this template would provide at least Range Mitigation 2. The loss Charge Shot series will be covered by additional BH-Carabine-Skills. Also some defensive skills like defense vs. Knockdown/Intimidate would be included. So the only loss in defensive would be counterattack and range mitigation 3... and the Marskman Pistoleer/Rifleman would bring an additional Range Defense +4.


So I don't see why it should be sooo terrible .
