I was a doc before I became a carbineer, but right now carbineer isn't enough for me. Just doesn't cut it for PvP and I've heard Carbineer/BH is brutal. But I'm really really skeptical about not only dropping doc, but all of medic. How do you live without being able to buff yourself or curepoison or dizzy/stand macros? Is it really worth it?

Well you will have to rely on other docs to get buffs and in battles to cure poison/disease. If you do alot of solo fighting then I would recommend BH/Carbineer for the sheer offensive power but if you do more group pvp then a Carbineer/Doc would be better.

Ahk, well I went ahead and bit the bullet and dropped Doc. Gonna go 3444 in carbineer, 0400 in BH and novice medic. Working on camping xp right now *mutter*

I would recommend BH 0-3-0-0 with Master carbs and novice medic instead of that template. Without the master box you won't have the advantage of RDM3 and you won't get the +25 ranged defense and counterattack from the master box. Novice medic isn't worth that considering that you will pretty much die because of mind anyway.

Well, I'll play a little w/o novice medic, but when you have 85% armor and PSGs and food, the mitigation doesn't play a huge effect, also considering 75% of PvPers (at least on our server) are Melee. But I'll play around with non-medic before I drop master carbineer. Maybe I'll pick up BH Pistol III and a scatter.
