I'm fairly new to the Carbineer profession and have read several posts that the Squill cave on Tat is an excellent way to rack up the Carbine XP. I don't have a lot of time to grind so looking for the most bang for my buck. I'm only a 1-0-0-2 Carbineer/ 0-0-0-4 Bounty Hunter and 1-3-1-1 Creature Handler. I'm wondering if I would have trouble with the Squill Cave? I have 70% base resist composite armor but am lacking in the specials for carbineer and have none from BH yet. Of course I can easily get buffs and I have a lot of brandy for the mind boost. I've been hunting Quenkers on Dant but they're getting harder to find missions for. I typically use a GSP for my tank and could use full auto area 1 if this would be worth it. Please let me know your thoughts or suggestions on this. Also an idea of your XP rates from hunting here would be helpful as well. All information is greatly appreciated, I've never been to the cave before so not sure what to expect. Is there any loot? Should I harvest meat, or bones or anything from them? Thanks again.

I've taken a few trips to the squil caves recently, a few times to hunt jedi and once to begin the hero quest. It definately seemed like a great place to level up. When I there to start the hero quest I was able to manage fine there unbuffed wearing some ubese, surely a novice carbineer could do fine with a set of buffs. The squills are probably a little bit tougher than quenkers, but you will get xp a lot faster there.

If you got into trouble you could always just whip out your LLC and blast the little buggers.
