Thread: Hi trying to be a carbiner soldier.

well I built a template without any master but with nice defenses and high offense, designed for 1vs1 fights, it's quite effective against any ranged or melee profession (incl defense stackers).
so you can try this:
BH 0440
Carbineer 3440 - capped speed, crippling, suppression fire 2, scatter 2.
Pistoleer 0044 - Decent pistol usage, defense vs states, and geo blaster cert.
Rifleman 0004 - for additionnal +40 melee defense.
and you end up with 10 skill points left.
it's really very efficient against any type of fighter, even tho it doesn't offer ranged mitigation 3.
if people heal themselves, switch to the scatter or geo blaster and go for eyeshot, but the damage output for carbines is so big that regular novice medics can't stand the healing/damage taken ratio.
been playing since november, tried (played not holo) every single combat prof (incl hybrid and other stuff) and this is the most powerfull template I ever tried (and I even tried FOTM thingies).
just don't stand still waiting for the guy to kick your a$$.
try using dizzy/posture change over fire KD as many players take def vs KD mods.

you should finish the bh line before you master carb, it masks it soooo much easier

Conversely, being master carbineer makes the bh carbs line go reallllly fast...

But for somebody that isn't a Carbineer or BH, but plans on doing both.....the ONLY SMART way to level is take BH Carbs first as you get BOTH Speed and Accuracy per box.
And the original poster needs to Read the FAQ on how to level this profession.....YOU NEED SPEED

i agree,he only needs 800k to finish the bh line...and about 5,525,000 to finish carbineer...i think if he did the bh line first it would be faster..

Hey I have been an artisn, architect, merchant and now I want to particpate in the GCW.
I am a 0322 carbiner and have 2 in the bh tree of carbine. I am am going to master and then finish the bh lineAnd I want to do the defence line of pistoler.
Reason I am doing Carbiner is because my cosuin who is a dark jedi knight says that carbiner is the best proffesson yet people are too dumb to utilize it correctly and just go for rifle power. The only problem I face is that people are novice medics and hell themselves in battle.
