Just made Master last night and wanted to thankALL of the members of this forum for your great advice along the way. Special props to nova for his EXCELLENT organization of the FAQ and the other numerous outstanding things he does around here.

Oh, and since I've never tossed my 2cr in before (becuase ALL of my questions were answered) here are a couple of tricks for novice carbineers...

1. Read the FAQ's, follow the links, and read them AT LEAST 3 times

2. MASTER the use of the SEARCH function before posting ANYTHING

3. Speed always wins over damage when selecting a slice before hitting 90+ in speed. But a 30%+ speed slice + max/min power-up is amazing.

4. Yes, you will in fact kill yourself quicker than your enemy if you spam FullAutoSingle2 in armour without buffs.

5. Yes, you can play Carbineer with no buffs and unarmoured. It just takes skill, patience and reading rules 1 & 2 ;>

6. If you rush to master this proffession, you may miss the beauty that is carbineer.

7. Carbines have high HAM costs. Get over it - they exist for a reason, stop complaining the prof is NOT broken.

8. Novamarine is awsome.

9. Firehawk may be outspoken, but he means well, and really knows his stuff.

10. Have fun, always.

Congrats m8.

I also mastered carbineer a few days ago on bria and its great with BH carbines, i can KD almost every opponent with a macro i made.
also have medic just in case

.

the only thing i need now is an uber carbine.
