I decided upon a new carbineer template; Ino longer liked being a BH/carbineer anymore (but can't stand to give up the carbines), so here it is...

With this, I get the ranged status effects offered by carbines through auto shots and the likeand decent ranged defense with ranged mitigation 3,excellent melee and status defenses and decent ranged defensewith Fencer and TKA,good damage dealing with fencer,plus to ability to use Stim B's.

What do y'all think? Any glaring weaknesses I missed?

Very nice. The State Defenses are not as good as my template, but I don't use Fencer for any damage so that allows me to pickup Pistoleer.
