Still nothing. Anyone know about this one? I found I could use the 'take cover' skill the other day and still fight using my carbine...anyone know if the taking cover from Rifleman can stack to be used by Carbineers? Any feedback?

Not sure, but even if it works now that doesn't mean that it will work after the CURB. Almost everything will change, one of the CURB alpha tester mottos is "Forget what you learned before".

I am curious to know. Do the bonuses from the second tree of Rifleman have any benefit to Carbineers. I know that when you are 'Taking Cover' you are prone and cant use a number of specials like 'Charge Shot' but you can still use many of the other Carbineer specials right? Just curious to know with the CU coming up as that tree also has nice bonuses to ranged defense. Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

I know you can take cover with a rifle in hand, then switch weapons, but I have never tried to use specials.......
taking cover currently only slightly raises your ranged defense by the way and you can't peace while under cover
Just tested, I can go under cover with a flamethrower in hand, and use specials.
BTW its not a good idea to do this on a 100% heat resist NS......

If anything I think it's more likly to work after CU, if I am reading it right.
