Before you start your download, simply copy/paste all of the files in your SWG main folder into the TC folder. 5 day downloads are cut down to two hours.

TC install will copy from the SWG folder....or it used to do that. I have had TC loaded since the first couple months though
The download for the CU is tiny, took about 2 minutes on broadband.

No, when you haven't installed TC to begin with, this helps alot, because it only downloads current patches, not the millions since the game began.
