as title states im going carbine

what should i try and get(weapons tapes and so on)

any advice on where to level fast?

oh and thanks in advance for any helpful advice

first off, it'd be nice to know what proffesion you are doing with carbineer. If you're getting the carbine tree in bounty hunter along with carbineer, then you won't need tapes for speed or accuracy.

grinding:

To grind carbineer, You'll want to get a speed sliced laser carbine, with stats near 2.6 speed, 280 max damage. Make sure you're buffed (including mind buffs unless you're using brandy), and go to dantooine. At the mission terminal get some quenker missions (pay about 5k) and make sure to group with a pet or droid for an xp bonus. They're easy kills for a novice carbineer, and give about 3.1k xp each. hope this helps

Get speed, then /burstshot2, then farm faction NPCs. Kill 2 birds with one stone. Besides, I hate grinding ranged weapons on animals. . . doesn't work all that well cause they swarm you and you can't spin

Like you can do anything with Carbineer on TC5.....

Not only is the XP VERY tough to get, the Elite Prof Trainers are removed from the server.....

Um....er........

You might want to sign on to TC5, should you master carbs very soon the CU is due out at the end of April. You may not want carbs after the CU..............
