edit: losing Nova AND Random, people who fought for two professions who both needed love is sad for both sides involved.
...not to mention the turnover of three other spots also.

Agh! What's going on here? Correspondents are leaving?
Whatever you decide to do Nova, take it easy. It was pretty mellow in the Carbineer side despite the perceived drawbacks to the profession.

Farewell novamarine, as a newbie carbineer your posts and everything helped me very well in being a carbineer, every thing you stated made stuff very easy, i wish you good luck in your future MMORPGs and any other games. its a shame to see you go

Nova, Thank you so much for the outstanding job you have done as our representitive. Your insight on topics both trivial and game breaking has been top notch all the way. Although I feel confident thatwhomever succeedsyou will do a fine job you will surely be missed by all here. Iwish you nothing but the best in your future.

You're a great credit to the profession. Too bad you couldn't make it until after the Combat Balance when we might actually see Carbs get some love. One of, if not the best player correspondents in this game. Best of luck to you.

You speak as if carbineers have never gotten any "love" from the devs. Need I remind you of Publish 7? Carbineer does not need any "love." The entire combat system needs an overhaul. If anything, carbineer is probably the one profession that doesn't really need anything done to it at all.

An overhaul.....nah. We could fix 90% of the things with cap speed changes, armor nerf, buff nerf would not be hard at all. Or even reduce the 75% PvP reduction to compensate for the armor/buff problem and it takes ONE DAY OF PROGRAMMING to fix 90% of the problems.
But they want to do a TOTAL OVERHAUL, which it actually sounds very good 
And the real point here is......Nova achieved more things with Carbineer than almost every other single prof.....HE IS THE MAN and nobody can even dream to fill his shoes.

This is really bad news. Been away on vacation for a week and coming back to this
You have been a great correspondant, not a fanboy that thinks everything SOE make is great (which makes me extra worried about the revamp) and not a whiner who only want some good stuff for our profession but looking at the larger picture. And you have done a lot to improve our professions (uhh reallly not mine anymore since I am currently not a Carbineer but I am Carbineer at heart lol).
We would really need youin the combat revamp.
I hope you you change your mind and come back playing at least. So not goodbye but see you again 
And thanks for the gift.
