OK people, we dont ALWAYS do 1500+ damage. just sometimes, on a good hit at the ideal range. i personally hit for average 300-900. i have seen me do 1600+ before though. just watch the numbers. youll see.

Well I just got Burst Shot 2 about a week ago, and I'm pretty dissapointed. It doesn't seem to hit for any more than BS1.

I'm using a sliced carbine 20-271 4.0

It's a pretty good weapon I think, but the higest I've seen (all numbers from the combat tab) has been 1540. But, I could could break 1500 with BS1 also, so whats so good about BS2? Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

I hit for as low as 200 somtimes. I'd say I average around 600 with BS2 (and probably averaged about the same with BS1).

I have novice carbineer and three boxes from counterinsurgancy (sp?) the column with burst shot.

I now wish I'd gone for cripple shot rather than BS2, the thought of having to get that much exp all over again is frustrating.

Those of you that hit for over 2k, is my weapon too weak? Am I missing some key skills? is BS2 really this weak or am I just unlucky? Do the rest of you seem to do the same amount with BS1 and BS2?

Theres nothing wrong with your gun. You just have to remember that the one drawback to a laser carb is the huge range of damage. Dont listen to people who say speed, right now im master and i fire my 4.0 laser carb just as fast as my pistoleer friend with his scout pistol.

Last night I used Crippling Shot several times for 3200+ with my 250 carbine and a +30% max damage powerup (approx. 325). I've seen at least one for nearly 3700, but those area kinda rare.

I do 2.9k damage with my crippling shot, and mind you that's with an older model laser carbine with damage slice and no power up.

Best for me is about 1200 with legshot2. 231 laser carbine sliced for speed.

Drow how what where the other stats on that laser carbine? what where the components used for building it? I didn't see a laser on Wanderhome going over 260 max damage without slice.

I do about 2200 highest with crippling shout and my sliced laser (309 max) on optimal range.

my new average is now around 800-1000. my max is now around 2000.

i got some sweet powerups that up my speed my 32%. i bought a crate of em and now i shoot every 2 .4 seconds with my laser carbine. hehe its great im SUPA FAST!!
