Thanks everybody!
and thanks to Darth Sushi, who was in fact the messenger for this news, even jumping in infront of Tiggs with his PM before I could read the email from Tiggs.

I feel very thankfull for the confidence and support you all already put in me and with TA leaving I will have a hard job to keep the forum as well as the carbineer profession in this outstanding condition as he did.
As he did, I will be needing the support of the whole community too, to make our all chosen profession something we all want to be and like to play.
For those carbineer who do not know me, I ll give a short introduction about me.
Im not a veteran player, but close to my one year veteran reward, I have masterd the carbineer profession before the CU as well as SL and Marksman and these are my only profession badges. I have been active on the carbineer forum since short after I decided that my temp would be MCar/MSL and sticked to it, though I experimented with all other ranged profession during the respec time of the CU, but with the end of respec I came back to what I was before: MCarb/MSL.
With the CU a lot of issues with the carbineer have been adressed ( PRE CU a carbineer could incap himself faster than a krayt could hit him) bringin the Carbineer profession now into an very formidable state, although we still could use a bit more crowd control as has been stated in the original CU concept papers, even though the DEVs started the that concept papers are now "outdated".
With TA doing an outstanding work and the DEVs currently focusing their work on "other" topics and profession, I became a lurker on the carbineer forum, but nonetheless there is always room for improvement and as your all correspondent I will be poking the DEVs at least as often as I poke Darth Sushi to bring their attention to the issues and improvements the carbineer community has for the carbineer profession.
Some more statistical information for all of you:
Im living in germany, that is CET = GMT +1 = EST +6 = PST +9.
My toon is called liongtsiao huang and I'm playing a rebel on ahazi.
In the ahazi forum ppl tend to adress to me as Liong and on the profession forum and the GCW forum more as _scout_.
I also put some time and work in the Star Wars Wiki where my focus is on the Carbineer, Squad leader as well as the GCW.
My toon has so far only one unlock and I so far have no ambitions to become jedi, although I would like the second char.
Something off topic might be my wish that the one year veteran reward would be an alt char for every veteran player so nobody is forced to go jedi just to get one.
Anyway

Sir, if you allow I ll take over from now, to the rest:
I ll be looking forward to work with you all

Does that mean, if you manage to get us the area knockdown, you want the sixpack of beer which i promised to TA?

Well, an honourable *S* salute to TAfirehawk, carbineer extrodinare and I will definitely miss the blue blazoned forum name on many informative posts.
Congrats to _Scout_, and be prepared for some of my more idiotic questions about the profession! LoL! *S*
