Another point is that in the view of the devs, the "I aspire to be a jedi" is one of the major end games of SWG. In a sense, the jedi grind is considered content (especially after the next publish when it becomes a real quest to do, rather than a just a grind). In this light, the better they make jedi (more content, fewer problems, etc), the more attractive they make the end goal and the more people will aspire to it. This may or may not be true, and if it is true it may not be valid reasoning, but it is one way to look at it. Like I said though, I'm not trying to support the dev's decision of how many resources to allocate to JTL, jedi issues, general balance issues, and content. (I have my own un-informed opinions as to if their actions were and are prudent). Just pointing out there are many larger issues at stake.

I will agree though that every professing has several "minor little bugs" that looking from our sides of the program look like they would takeone hour with a talented programmer to fix... Whether it is as easy to add +15 carbineer speed as we think, especially considering issues with game balance, is another question entirely though.

Have you seen the Jedi Trials quests?

They essentially boil down to missions not unlike those hunting missions you get from a Scout Terminal.

Go forth and kill X number of Lair Boss mobs.

Content my hairy butt.

So true. Have you seen WHAT they have to kill X many of too? I don't know about you, but I don't see that many Peko Peko Albatrosses that often. Maybe once in a blue moon I'll find a random spawn where I can get 3 of them, and I live on Naboo, so it's not like I don't go there often. And the Acklay. Come on! That thing is so over camped right now it's insane.

Oh god, itbetter not be a campfest to get jedi. Don't the devs realize how stupid camping is. I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate camping. Its not fun in any way shape or form. I will cancel my account if its a campfest. I'm sick of not being able to get loot because I can't outcamp riflemen. This game would be GREAT if krayts were enjoyable to kill. Not saying they should be an easy kill, but you shouldn't have to fight for the CHANCE to fight once. If they could instance things, but make them alot more difficult it would be GREAT.

The pekos are actually fairly easy to find, if you have ranger. Cruise along the area between the cliffs and the beach between theed and kaadara. I killed 6 last week.
