True as a BH/Master Carbineer it changes the way I pvp with a carbine vs others. Nova may get more dmg with his Elite on his galaxy and I get more dmg with my laser. Guess it all depends on who youare pvping. Im in a war right now and have pvped almost non stop and I still see better dmg coming from a laser. Maybe nova sees it different. Oh and I consider myself a Master Carbineer dabbling BH for carbine. I used to be a true bh, but...well it sucked frankly.
Actually +50 defense to KD does not stop 200 accuracy+75 at ideal range. And maybe Im just lucky but I never see myself hit at minimal dmg and I think it is the accuracy.

So lets look at your after armor piercing numbers...
The 250-290 elite averages to 270 damage.
The 100 - 350 laser averagesto 225 damage.
I am using your numbers to show that the Elite is better average damage damage. PLUS, the minimum damage on the elite is HIGHER than the average damage on the laser.
These are your numbers...
I'll agree the laser will occasionally hit for a bigger number,but that does not end the debate. The laser will also hit for very small numbers just as often.

And don't get me wrong, that is a SWEET Laser, but using the same resources on an Elite for PvP will produce a much better weapon.
