the only thing i dont like about the animation is that if your running away from something a decide to use a chargeshot to keep it at bay you run slower while the animation plays out. other then that i dont have any real feelings ether way, it dosnt bug me that much but i would hardly cry if it was gone.

The best way to handle the ideal range problem is to fire the shot while running lateral to the target, the animation fires, but the "charge" is directional based on which way you were running. It goes a long way towards keeping me in more useful ranges.
